The following Lehigh Carbon Community College associate degrees are approved: Students entering Temple with an approved Associate degree are identified upon admission to or enrollment in the University and their fulfillment of the General Education by a GenEd Transfer Agreement is noted on pertinent student records. GenEd-to-GenEd and Core-to-Core Transfer AgreementĬore-to-Core and GenEd-to-GenEd Transfer agreements accept - upon Temple evaluation and approval - the general education requirements of approved associate degrees in lieu of Temple's Core or GenEd requirements. Students are then admitted to Temple upon attaining their associate's degrees at the community college. ![]() Interested students must enroll in the Dual Admissions program before completing 30 credits, including credits from any colleges previously attended. The Dual Admissions agreement between Temple and Lehigh Carbon Community College conditionally admits students to Temple at the same time they are admitted to Lehigh Carbon Community College, and provides the opportunity for merit scholarships to Temple for eligible students. The Lehigh Carbon Community College Foundation generates the philanthropic resources to support the Community College's mission, programs, and capital projects that help turn student aspirations into reality through education.To better encourage and facilitate the transfer of Lehigh Carbon Community College students to Temple University, Temple and Lehigh Carbon Community College have established the following transfer agreements: Dual Admissions The Lehigh Carbon Community College Foundation will provide the resources necessary to support the needs of the Community College and its students. The Foundation is proud of the work it does and its ability to award LCCC student scholarships and support College projects, such as a student emergency fund services for students with disabilities strategic initiatives, and other programs consistent with the College’s academic and educational purpose. Our objectives are to acquire revenues and resources through active community and alumni fundraising, manage those revenues and resources prudently, and dispense them to the College in a manner that most effectively supports the College’s mission of “providing high quality learning experiences that are affordable and accessible.” Our continued goal is to serve the best interest of our students and to improve their chances for success through encouraging college readiness developing school district, workforce and community partners broadening the understanding and application of best practices in enrollment management fostering student learning, student development, academic success, and persistence to goal attainment ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment to facilitate student learning and engagement and acting responsibly and ethically in the stewardship and development of institutional resources. The Lehigh Carbon Community College Foundation, a nonprofit organization, was created in 1975 to generate the philanthropic resources necessary to support the Community College’s mission.
